I have a high roller im my shed, as I run 24inch wheels i can only get them in a 2.7 and thats to wide for my frame and just about fits in the fork and i find they make my bike sooo much heavier! haha . Sadly minions dont come in 24inch - it sucks!! Well i was thinking more freeride style drops as i would use my rhythm for slopestyle riding I wanted to race this year, but lack of funds and my bike seems to break before every race to is driving me mad and it sucks cos my mate is in hardtail and would be fun racing with him.
You should still enter, it will give you some experience!!
you may even show the hardtail guys up :p hehe

haha fair enough! Well i like stiff forks cos I like dirt jumping, so i feel the bumps even more on downhill!! i need to get nobbly tyres for my bike cos my holy rollers give no grip on loose downhill surfaces (almost eneded up hittin a tree as a result on the weekend!) I agree that hardtails are WAY more fun, the only reason i want a dh bike is so i can do sum big drops and the odd downhill race. Do you race atall? Dragon Downhill covers alot of the welsh courses and has a hardtail catogary :p

Nah dont ride downhill much, i have done it the alps but nout serious. I ride it now and then but find it hard with the tyres im runnin and only having a rear brake haha Im gettin a downhill bike sometime in the future so will get into it more then lol.
Howa bout you? whats your weapon of choice? I see you like the welsh downhill tracks :p and you got to ride Les Gets!! I was gonna ride but crashed the day before in Chatel and cudnt ride it, was well gutted!
